Kamanga Health Centre Update


Kamanga Health Centre continues to be busy!

This quarter (April, May and June of this year):

  • 1,947 people attended the Health Centre, and 534 of these were children under the age of five.
  • The most common diagnoses were:

o   Upper respiratory infections;

o   Urinary tract infections;

o   Typhoid;

o   Hypertension; and

o   Dysentery.

  • We carried out 505 Malaria Rapid Diagnostic Tests.
  • 22 women gave birth safely at the Health Centre.

This is all great news, and it’s just a fraction of the work that goes on. We are very grateful to our staff, volunteers, fundraisers, sponsors and supporters for making this possible!
